NOTE: Due to air strip conditions, crafts for Canaima and Los Roques are small; therefore there is a limitation in the baggage size. Luggages must be soft and not superior to 10 kg. In the case of passengers with long circuits, Alborada Venezuela takes the baggage and keeps it in custody until departure time with a tariff of 48 US $ per pax. Also, if client decides to carry the extra luggage to those places, it must be paid directly to the airline 1US$ per extra kilo. The special flights to Canaima are from Puerto ordaz or Ciudad Bolivar. So, it is necessary to arrive to these cities that are the nearest to Canaima National Park. The only way to arrive to Canaima is by air. The aircrafts used are Beechcraft32 (19 pax) or Cessna – 402 with capacity for 6 pax. The charter flights are only in daytime, usually in the mornings.

ALB-S400   CANAIMA NATIONAL PARK AND THE HIGHEST WATERFALL IN THE WORLD
One of the most beautiful National Parks in the world, the land of the thousand falls, including the highest of the world: The Angel Falls –a unique and breathtaking location–. Accommodation on the shore of the Canaima lagoon of reddish waters which, according to the indigenous Indians, have medicinal powers. The Angel falls down from the Auyantepuy (mountain of the devil in the Indian language) to the foot of the dense tropical jungle. The tepuys, steep mountains cut by the ax of time surround this vast region far from the action of man, in the entangled forest flora. 3 days / 2 nights
Day 1: Caracas - Canaima National Park (LD)
Arrival to Puerto Ordaz. Then take the connection flight to Canaima National Park, the biggest park of Venezuela and surely one of the most unspoiled locations in the world today. During your flight you will be taken thru the Tepuys and will have time to enjoy the spectacular scenery. Reception at Canaima landing strip by the local bilingual guide, transfer to the lodge in a typical 4X4 jeep. Installation in the lodge and then, take a canoe ride in Canaima lagoon approaching to the falls. Enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon your guide will pick you up at the lodge to take a short walk thru the forest up until Sapo and Sapito Falls. On your way you will walk under the water curtain formed from the falling water. Once being up the mountain the view will leave you breathless. In the middle of Canaima National Park, your local guide will give you detailed stories about the ancient rock formations, once considered the gods and goddess of the Indians. Time to enjoy a bath on the beach in front of the fall. Return to Lodge. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Canaima National Park (BLD)
Assist to the awakening of all nature in this unique place. Enjoy the peaceful environment in Canaima. Free time to visit the handicraft shops, the Indian community or to take an optional excursion (Please see optional excursions tariffs). Overnight.

Day 3. Canaima - Caracas (B)
After breakfast profit to take a last swim in the Canaima lagoon or visit the Indian Community. Transfer to the landing strip to take the flight back to Caracas.
