Day 7. Trekking (BLD)
Breakfast. Trek from Guayaraca Camp to our starting point in Kavac. Experience the adventure of Kavak's Cave. Under the natives guidance we will start a twenty minutes trek to the impressive Canyon. We begin walking along a wide savannah, with the amazing view of the rock wall formed by the Auyantepuy. As we walk toward the gorge the vegetation changes abruptly into dense jungle. The hiding places of ocelots, anteaters, macaws, parrots and toucans. You will enjoy the Kavak River and its many swimming holes, formed in the cavities of reddish shining rocks, which invite you to plunge. We will swim through a narrow gorge where cascading water fall down with great force creating a natural pool, where you will enjoy a relaxing bath.
The view of the waterfalls turns the adventure into a truly mystical experience; you will be surrounded by rock walls, which are formed by the tepuy's deep crevices, which open the visitors to the sight and sounds of the magnificent Kavak falls: a violent white water fall roaring through the middle of a gigantic circle of shiny stones. Return to the lodge. Dinner and overnight in this secluded and exotic place.
Day 8. Trekking - Canaima (BLD)

In the afternoon your guide will pick you up at the camp to take a canoe ride to the falls at Canaima Lagoon, short walk thru the forest up until Sapo and Sapito Falls. On your way you will walk under the water curtain that forms from the falling water. Once being up the mountain the view will left you breathless, in the middle of Canaima National Park, your local guide will give you detailed stories about the ancient rock formations, once considered the gods and goddess of the Indians. Time to enjoy a bath on the beach in front of the fall. Return the lodge. Exquisite gastronomic menus and sophisticated beverages are served by well-trained staff. It stretches out around the banks of the lake; the cabins are charmingly decorated, furnished with private bathrooms, hot water and all the amenities suited for the environment. Dinner and overnight.

One of South America's Most Impressive natural displays. The Auyantepuy is a high sandstone plateau that belongs to the Roraima formation, one of the oldest in the world (2.000 million years), already existing during the time when Africa and America were one big continent. Its flat top has an area of approximately 700 km2, as large as to fit many of the Caribbean Islands on it. The Angel Falls, the Highest Waterfall in the World, drops from the mysterious Auyantepuy, name given by the Pemon Indians meaning "The House of the Waters". This Tepuy's major feature is the diversity of habitats and the endemic forms of life. The flora and the fauna on the top are completely different from those at the bottom and many species still remain unrecorded. On the top we can find swamps, sandstones fields, volcanic rock formations and pink rivers.
